Personally, in a variety of high-impact, high-falutin’ community service roles including stints as General Chairman of the Waste Management Phoenix Open, President of the Phoenix Thunderbirds and board member of the ASU Sun Angel Foundation.

Humble brags include co-authorship of a college textbook, Public Relations Campaigns and Techniques, Hall of Fame awards from both the ASU College of Public Programs & the Cronkite School of Journalism, and recognition as a “Most Admired Leader” by the Phoenix Business Journal.

Canonization as bona-fides for his current role as founding partner of the Halo Project.

Eric Labas

Spent twenty awarded years as creative director of the biggest & best creative departments in town, in service to Mark Fenske’s assertion that:

‘what effective marketing has in common is the audience didn’t see it coming in time enough to get out of the way.’

Gave boxer Oscar De la Hoya nickname of ‘Golden Boy,’ today a $200M brand.

Followed by five rewarding years helping create, administer & communicate the ‘Circle K Cares’
CSR program. During which time the Arizona region boasted the company’s highest rate of charitable giving, its lowest employee turnover rate & accounted for 35% of all company revenue. Rousing affirmation of Mark Twain’s observation:

‘What it is we live for is the good opinion of our neighbors.’

The renovation & repurposing of a vacated Circle K store as a pediatric rehabilitation clinic in sterling service to hundreds of area families, and one tarnished corporate reputation.

A career highlight unmatched for its community, business-& personal-impact.
